Momento histórico: una mujer dirigirá un partido en un Mundial de futbol masculino

De origen francés, Stéphanie Frappart hará historia en el mundo del fútbol masculino convirtiéndose en la primera mujer en dirigir un partido de un Mundial de fútbol masculino. Será mañana jueves y estará a cargo del partido entre Alemania vs. Costa Rica, tercera fecha del Grupo E. Además, todo el cuerpo arbitral será integrado por mujeres: sus asistentes serán la brasileña Neuza Back y la mexicana Karen Díaz Medina.

Stéphanie no es ninguna novata: con 38 años, empezó su carrera a la corta de edad de 13. Es la segunda vez que hace historia pues en 2019 dirigió la final de la Supercopa de Europa entre Liverpool y Chelsea.
